Spring Specials April 2019

Spring is around the corner and we all want something new and different! For this month we chose and got endlessly inspired by Latin, Asian and American  fusion comfort food. 


$175 per person (all inclusive: grocery, per plate fee)



Appetizers: pick 1


Seared calamari and scallops, Romesco sauce and roasted Dates, g/f

(Guajillo Chili, almonds, roasted tomato, parsley, olive oil)


Venison tartar, Foie Gras  

(shallot, capers, vinegar, Dijon Mustard, olive oil, grilled Baguette)


Red Braised Pork belly with truffled potato , ricotta and spinach dumpling

(Miso glaze topped with sweet sour ancho chili puree, Asian seven spice, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, flour, potato, ancho chili, lime, almonds, herbs)

Cesar salad croquettes

(romaine lettuce, spinach, fried goat cheese croquettes, shaved Parmesan cheese, Anchovy , lemon) 


Arugula pine nuts salad

(Toasted pine nuts, roasted garlic lime vinaigrette, sun dried tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles )

Twisted Surf and Turf 

(8oz Prime beef Fillet Mignon cooked to order, seared scallops, mussels, calamari, Aji Amarillo cream sauce, creamy goat cheese polenta)


Drunken Seafood 

(handmade squid ink Fettuccine, Crab meat, king prawns, chili, tomato and garlic , wild mushrooms, parsley, Aji verde, Grilled garlic baguette)


Ramen Japanico

(Handmade ramen noodles, Kobe beef sliced and grilled, braised pork belly , hard egg, toasted nori sheets, sesame oil, green onions , sake, shichimi togarashi (Japanese all spice))

Winter Special 2019/4 course menu/$250 per person

Appetizer: Pick one.

  

Brie – locally sourced, roasted grapes, honey, caramelized walnuts, Belgium chocolate, strawberries, baguette.

Seafood cocktail – shrimp, crab, mussels, cooked in citrus tomato puree, mixed with celery, cucumber, jalapeno, avocado and cilantro.

Garlic Roasted Bone Marrow - Arugula pine nuts salad, bacon, caramelized onion, baguette.

Cured Hamachi (fish) - Yuzu Kosha (citrus chili paste ), olive oil, shaved radish, chives.

Steamed Pork Dumplings – seasoned pork, Nuoc Cham (Vietnamese Dipping sauce mix of sweet, sour, salty, spicy) spring onions.

Baba Ghanoush (roasted eggplant dip ) – sesame paste, olive oil, parsley, paprika, veggie

Buffalo Albondigas Soup (meatball) - ground buffalo, chorizo, egg , veggies, spices.

Beet lima bean soup – beat, lima beans, caraway seeds, onions, crème fraiche.

Russian Beet salad – roasted beets and carrots, red onion, sauerkraut, pickles, olive oil, spinach.

Greek Kale Salad with Creamy Garlic Tahini lemon dressing (ground sesame seed paste) – chickpeas, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese, sunflower seeds.

Seven Spiced Marinated Lamb Chops – creamy goat cheese polenta, shaved apple slaw, roasted tomato sauce, hot clarified butter.

Seared Trout – marinated new potatoes, sautéed wild mushrooms and truffled pea puree.

Seared Duck Breast confit - teriyaki foi gras sauce, sautéed sweet and spicy edamame , sundried tomatoes ,cauliflower puree.

Tofu (Soy bean Curds) steak – barley risotto with caramelized leeks and mushrooms.
